Tomorrow is my last day as a first grade teacher.
More importantly, tomorrow is the day I have my exit interviews with my assistant principal and with our HR rep. I plan to go to the wall for my co-workers. They have been so supportive- I could not have gotten through this year without them. The least I can do on my way out the door is to let those in charge know how I, as a new teacher and a new person in the district, feel walking away.
There will be lots of "I am disappointed with the way...." and "I was expecting..." Let's just hope I can get my words across and that they take me seriously!
Wow, soon to be unemployed. And homeless. Unless that craigslist posting works out...but I'll keep you informed as I know more!
